Location: Halesowen

Hours per week: Full-time 37.5


Your role

Working within a Scrum Team, the role will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions on our desktop, website, mobile, and API solutions. Knowledge and experience of modern software development is essential. An open and positive attitude is needed


Key responsibilities

This role will work in a Scrum Team of 4 – 8 people at any given time. The success of the role will be the ability to deliver tasks according to sprint commitment as well as able to contribute to the team culture, discussions, and third line (developer) customer support.


Reporting to the Head of Development you will be responsible for


  • to Scrum ceremonies.
  • new solutions using NET, PowerBuilder, ASP.NET, Web API, and Angular. This includes Web, API, Mobile, and Desktop applications.
  • correct use of patterns and practices.
  • and resolving production issues (L3 Support).


Your profile

You have extensive experience working within a wide range of technologies such as the following:

  • DevOps (branching, pipeline management)
  • NET (Framework, Core), C#, ASP.NET MVC
  • Angular JS
  • HTML5 / JavaScript (ES6) / CSS
  • Unit and integration testing (XUnit)
  • Git (trunk based, GitFlow)

You can demonstrate a postive, energentic and pragmatic approach to work

You are confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a team player and happy to take on new challenges


In addition you should also have commercial experience of building and deploying applications using Microsoft Azure.

Experience working with Powerbuilder and Sybase is beneficial but not essential.
