About the Role - We are looking for a Transport Planner to join our dedicated team at our Colchester office. It is an ideal place for a candidate that’s ambitious, hardworking and loves working in a fast-paced career.



Responsibilities -



  • Planning, organising and coordinating transport activities
  • Informing drivers or subcontractors about transport details (loading/unloading goods etc.)
  • Verifying/checking drivers activity truck position
  • Using in house transport management system to monitor and update the progress of each transport


Qualifications - Office experience, Organisational skills, Ability to communicate effectively with internal & external parties, Strong IT skills, Planning skills, Professional telephone manner with good level of customer service, Knowledge of 1 year similar industry would be an advantage but we are willing to train for the right candidate



Required Skills - Multitasking, Accuracy in verifying, informing and providing operational solutions
