Location: Manchester – Hybrid. Flexible Working Hours.

Salary: £35,000.

SEO Strategist Role & Responsibilities

As SEO Strategist you will work in a strategy focused role, creating long and short-term SEO strategy for a variety of clients and coordinating with the wider SEO team. Additionally, your role will involve:

• Onboarding clients helping to understand their business priorities and to create an effective SEO strategy.
• Conducting keyword research to create lists of high-quality keywords for the content and SEO team.
• Working with the technical SEO team, to create a technical SEO optimisation plan.
• Create in-depth 6 – 12-month strategic SEO roadmaps that meet client goals.
• Produce detailed content briefs for the content team.
• Measuring, analysis, and reporting of the SEO performance across the multiple SEO campaigns and clients that fall under your remit.
• Working with relevant teams (Content and Data), to deliver comprehensive SEO campaigns.

Your Skills & Experience

You will have a personal, dedicated training budget alongside the agency’s mentorship scheme, to ensure you continue to progress in your SEO career. The business does, however, ask that you have:

• 2+ years of SEO experience in an agency setting.
• Demonstrable experience of owning the SEO strategy of client accounts.
• Experience in owning client management and relationship building.
• Experience with a variety of SEO tools.
• SEO skills across both technical and content.
• Experience in conducting technical SEO audits.
