The Role:

As an Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating department, ensuring accuracy in tendering processes, and supporting the strategic growth of the business. Your key duties will include:

  • Preparing tender returns and overseeing estimates
  • Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing analysis
  • Conducting take-offs and scope of works for projects
  • Supporting business systems, including CRM and cost libraries
  • Driving efficiency in tender processes and workload management
  • Identifying margin improvement opportunities and cost efficiencies
  • Leading and mentoring a team, ensuring professional development

The Person:

We are looking for an experienced Estimating Manager with a strong background in the construction sector, who can lead a team and deliver results. The ideal candidate will have:

5+ years' experience in fit-out, marine, or construction estimating, with a proven track record of cost planning and tendering
Experience in using Conquest estimating software (or similar)
The ability to manage multiple tenders and oversee a team effectively
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
