Incite is looking for a Qualitative Associate who brings their great skills and experience to make impactful contributions, adding value to individual research projects and ongoing client accounts.



Key responsibilities and skillsets


Problem Solving

  • Collaborating with team members and engaging our consultative toolkit, to respond to client briefs and questions
  • Identification of key insights to ensure that research answers business questions and is actionable for clients


Project delivery

  • Moderation - across digital and f2f methodologies - including focus groups, Depths, Forums/digital communities, Stakeholder interviews etc.
  • Workshops - co-facilitation of workshops with clients and stakeholders
  • Analysis and developing outputs using Incite’s consultancy tools, to tell a clear story
  • Delivering presentations to clients


Communication and teamwork

  • Synthesis of multiple data sources into actionable insights
  • Collaborating with team members to interpret and communicate research findings into commercial implications that address client questions
  • Translating insights into a clear and structured narrative, via careful audience diagnosis and storyboarding, to deliver impact via compelling outputs
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying relevant opportunities within accounts
  • A team player with flexibility to take different roles on different projects and work with different colleagues


Project management

  • Working with the team to cost projects
  • End-to-end management of qualitative projects, inclusive of set-up and fieldwork – managing projects to scope, time and budget
  • Writing screeners and quality-checking recruitment
  • Liaising with global and domestic research partners and suppliers for effective and efficient project work
  • Effectively managing clients’ expectations with clear communication and regular dialogue, developing relationships with key clients
  • Experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously and juggling priorities effectively, communicating clearly to manage expectations for both team members and clients
  • Commitment to high standards and quality, and looking to continuously learn and develop skills



What we’re looking for

  • Solid ad-hoc research and consultancy experience at an established agency
  • Qualitative moderation experience, ideally across a range of approaches
  • Experience of qualitative analysis and interpretation skills to answer questions and communicate implications and insights
  • Experience across Services sectors, ideally including financial services, technology, energy or travel
  • Experience with client contact and management
  • Ability to execute core elements of a project independently
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ideally experience of delivering presentations to clients and looking to develop this

Recruitment process

The cycle comprehends two interviews and a coffee/chat with our MD:

  • 1st Stage: 45 minutes – virtual
  • 2nd Stage: 1.5 hours – case study + interview - Office
  • 3rd Stage - Meet MD for a 15 minutes chat
