Interaction Designer key skills;

  • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to design solutions that adhere to GDS design principles and best practices.
  • Champion user-centred design, ensuring inclusive and accessible services for all citizens.
  • Apply your expertise across various public sector projects, from healthcare to education and government services.
  • Mentor and guide fellow designers, fostering a collaborative environment prioritising user needs.
  • Shape the future of our talent pool with your valuable feedback on GDS-aligned practices.

For this Interaction Designer role, we require:

  • Proven experience as an Interaction/UX Designer demonstrated in public sector or GDS-aligned projects.
  • Agile mindset and experience collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for inclusive design and catering to diverse user needs, including accessibility standards.
  • Masterful communication and leadership skills to manage relationships and guide others.
  • Understanding of GDS design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and different roles within design, product, and tech.
