Job Description:

They are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of 10-15 key accounts, with a primary focus on expanding their product lines within these accounts and identifying new business opportunities. This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in the beauty and cosmetics industry, who is eager to develop their sales career by working with some of the UK's most prestigious retail brands.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with 10-15 existing retail accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each account's needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional product lines within your assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales volume and market share within your portfolio.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities, including targeting potential new retail partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and areas for expansion.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on brand messaging and product offerings.
  • Provide feedback from clients to inform future product development and marketing strategies.



Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Sales or Account Management role, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, retail or FMCG industry.

OR

  • Someone with experience in a retail focused (or similar) role, e.g. a buyer - who is looking for that step into a sales focused role within the Beauty & Cosmetics industry


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • A passion for the beauty and cosmetics industry.
