Key Responsibilities:

Investment Opportunity Origination:

  • Identifying and sourcing high-potential investment opportunities within the consumer landscape.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Monitoring emerging trends, technologies, and business models across consumer markets to align with the fund’s strategic priorities.

Deal Evaluation and Due Diligence:

  • Conducting commercial, financial, and technical due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
  • Building and analyzing detailed financial models to assess business performance and potential investment returns.
  • Evaluating market size, competitive positioning, customer behavior, and other critical factors to inform investment decisions.

Investment Execution:

  • Supporting deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation processes.
  • Preparing comprehensive investment memos for presentation to the Investment Committee.
  • Collaborating with senior team members and external advisors during deal closing.

Portfolio Management and Value Creation:

  • Assisting in the performance monitoring of portfolio companies, providing analytical support for growth initiatives.
  • Developing dashboards to track key metrics and financial performance of portfolio companies.
  • Contributing to investor updates and reports on portfolio performance.

Market Research and Thought Leadership:

  • Conducting in-depth research on market dynamics and trends to support investment strategies.
  • Representing the fund at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to enhance its market presence.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Strategy Consulting.
  • Demonstrable skills in financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis.
  • Exposure to consumer-facing industries or a strong interest in consumer behaviour and market trends is advantageous.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Commercial Insight: Ability to evaluate business models and assess market opportunities critically.
