A global, listed transport and logistics business based in London are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their IT function.
You will support the IT team in performing financial analysis on a variety of investment projects, acting as a crucial member in the decision-making process of the business. You will be heavily involved in financial results reporting and identifying areas of cost leakages through processes and procedures.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Effective financial planning and analysis
- Capex reporting and planning.
- Leading the financial support in maintaining a framework to ensure strategic projects achieve their financial objectives.
- Managing the tracking of the benefits and cost of initiatives.
- Provide business insight and robust challenge into the program portfolio key business decisions through regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
- Presenting to the Management Committee and other reports.
- Develop scenario planning capabilities to enhance the planning and forecasting process and in the event of key legal, economic, or political changes.
- Process improvement and implementation.
- Adhere to all corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Building rapport with finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels across the business.
- Lead the direct team and wider business planning, reporting and strategy team when required.
- Supervising junior team members.
