Infectious Disease Researcher

The Infectious Disease Researcher role is a key role within Airfinity working within a team to produce insight and intelligence for our clients relating to different aspects of infectious disease we are supporting them with. This role will focus on a number of therapy areas which will deep dive into research and analysis to produce weekly written infectious disease intelligence reports.


Responsibilities of the Infectious Disease Researcher:

  • Work with senior team members to produce weekly written infectious disease intelligence reports for clients
  • Research and analyse new science in a number of therapy areas
  • Annotate and enrich scientific information with valuable data points and impact metrics
  • Use a number of data visualisation tools to render your analyses
  • Deliver powerful insights in well-crafted reports
  • Become intrinsically familiar with our proprietary life science database


Requirements:

  • Expertise and deep interest in scientific research
  • Experience with data visualisation applications, building dashboards and reports
  • Undergraduate/Masters in epidemiological field
  • Expertise and deep interest in scientific research, particularly in the immunology space
  • Strong knowledge of infectious diseases and causative agents
  • Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational habits and an ability to meet tight deadlines
