OVERVIEW

We are partnered with a rapidly expanding digital platform in the property and legal tech sector, backed by a global leader in digital transaction services. They are seeking a talented Data Engineer to modernise and scale their data infrastructure. This role focuses on transitioning legacy systems to cutting-edge cloud architecture and enhancing the platform's analytics capabilities.

This forward-thinking digital platform is simplifying property transactions through advanced technology. They have strong partnerships with major UK financial institutions and legal firms, and their recent acquisition by a global leader in the space is enabling a new wave of innovation and growth.

THE ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will:
- Modernise data infrastructure, transitioning to a data mesh architecture.
- Work closely with DevOps and Data Engineering to integrate scalable, reliable data pipelines.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Support analysts in deploying and maintaining DBT models.
- Explore AI and BI tools to enhance platform analytics.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Databricks, and PySpark.
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- Previous experience in a smaller, dynamic environment with broad end-to-end data engineering responsibilities.
- Experience with data governance, infrastructure setup, and advanced analytics.

SALARY
- Up to £82,000 + benefits.
