The Role

This is a pivotal role for a results-driven Head of IT. We are seeking a highly experienced IT Infrastructure professional who enjoys both strategy development and hands on implementation, to ensure the continued growth of our fast-paced global business.

The successful candidate will support the Board and department heads in achieving our business plan by leading the integration and implementation of information systems across the companies network.

Key responsibilities will include:

Strategy - create and maintain Information Technology & management strategies in line with stakeholder needs and in keeping up with current best practice.

Governance - ensure that the Information Technology strategy is compliant with government legislation and standards in those countries in which the Group operates.

Project Management – manage the implementation and roll out of new and existing projects including:

• Ongoing integration, upkeep and improvement of IT systems.
• Management of outsourced service providers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in line with strategic aims and financial objectives.
• Supporting key stakeholders in relation to the roll out of our global ERP solution.

Implementation - manage the day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored, ensuring that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met.

Budget - manage the annual IT capital and operational expense budgets for all sites.

Service - organise and implement servicing and support of all IT systems to agreed service level standards.

Business continuity - develop and maintain the Major Incident & Business Continuity plan for IT and implement measures designed to safeguard the IT Management needs of the company in the event of major incidents or disasters.

Essential Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent work ethic and the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience at a Head of IT or senior management role within a multi-national organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of working successfully with both internal and external stakeholders with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Strong project management training and experience.
• Experience of managing third party relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Previous line management experience with remote teams.
• Experience with cyber security and data protection policies including the implementation of ISO27001.
• Experience with Information Technology networks and systems at a multi-national level and daily operational management thereof.
• Ability to influence results through appropriate staffing, budgetary management and maximisation of available resources.

Desirable:

• Bachelors degree in IT related subject.
