Robotics - Technical Support Engineer


We’re working with a Global technology partner to find two talented Support Engineers with a background in troubleshooting software applications, platforms and cloud services, to work within our successful and growing Robotics Technical Support team


The role is a customer first position, whilst the technical knowledge is critical for success, the role will involve working with customers multiple internal teams and stakeholders and you’ll need to be able to communicate effectively, understanding the situation from a technology and business perspective.


We’ll consider people from a range of backgrounds, Networking, Cloud, Cybersecurity or telecoms, (although Robotics would be a plus). Someone who can deep dive and resolve technical issues. You will take responsibility for and drive the solutions, analysing multiple data sources to find defects/issues and be able to resolve them, including coding where needed. For many tickets, you’ll need to liaise with internal teams to create a viable solution for customers.


Technical skills:

  • Networking - Routing, Switching, Wireless
  • Telecommunications - VoIP
  • Cybersecurity / Cloud - AWS
  • Systems - Linux / Unix
  • Automation scripting


The ideal Technical Support Engineers will have a technical background, a customer centric approach and have change management or project management skills, as the role will require you to implement changes, document solutions and take lead on each ticket to resolution.


The role is shift-based, including 1 weekend day in a 5-day rota, but will not require any out of hours work.
