Analytics Implementation Engineer (UK based)


About Station10:


Station10 was the codename for Bletchley Park, the home of the WW2 code breakers. We might not have a top-secret base (…we’re based in Farringdon), but like them, we decode vast amounts of data to crack seemingly impossible problems. 

We translate data into everyday language that drives positive change and accelerates strategic growth for a range of “big-name” clients, through defining, improving, and transforming the digital and customer experience.


We are looking for an Analytics Implementation Engineer to join our growing team, to play an important part in our fast-paced and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work across several clients to provide solutions to complex data challenges. There will be a particular focus on providing technical development and implementation of technical analytics solutions. You will have a fantastic opportunity to define and implement omnichannel data strategies for leading enterprises and will play a vital role in the growth and strategic direction of our company.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Implement and manage digital analytics solutions via tag management systems for our clients.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, analysts, and developers to optimize reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Perform testing and QA work to ensure data collection is reliable and accurate.
  • Write clear and thorough documentation.
  • Work with senior team members and project managers to ensure project tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard, ensuring the successful delivery of client projects.
  • Pursue best practices and share the knowledge and experiences within the team.
  • Create trusted partnerships with clients to consistently deliver value to our clients
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with the Station10 team and with our clients


Experience and Qualifications (Required)


  • 2+ years of experience in a technical and digitally focused environment, working with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing either Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics via Tag Management Systems (i.e. Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten, or similar).
  • Experience integrating digital analytics tools with consent management systems, such as Onetrust or CookieBot.
  • Extensive experience validating the quality of data collection individually or with a QA team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to a client's technology/engineering teams, product managers, marketing, and analytics teams.
  • Experience writing simple but robust JavaScript code for use in tag management systems.
  • Knowledge of front-end web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Passion for technology and learning new skills and technologies
  • Excellent attention to detail


Desired Competencies (Not Essential):


  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform, Tealium AudienceStream, or Segment
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Looker Studio, Tableau or PowerBI.
