Job Title: Senior Planning Specialist

Salary Range:

£90,000 - £110,000 depending on experience

Location:

Home worker based, with travel expected on an ad-hoc basis in line with client requirements.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Planning Specialist, you'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic Business. You will be delivering success for our clients using both Workday Adaptive Planning and Pigment Planning, in addition to contributing to pre-sales activities and providing key contributions to help the business achieve its growth ambitions. It is anticipated that as the Company grows, your role will take on more responsibility in terms of people management, and the potential for product or other specialisation/leadership.

Responsibilities and Duties:

● Provide expertise on the platforms for Workday Adaptive Planning and Pigment Planning. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, robust, value-driven solutions for our clients. This will range from the definition of Business Requirements, to system implementation, documentation and to support. 

● Support business development activities. You will be responsible for delivering product demonstrations, proof of concept builds and requirement scoping. This is expected to be a minority proportion of your overall time.

● Help with the facilitation of operational growth. Contribute to the growth of the Business in the form of methodology, process design, development of intellectual property and training/supporting newer members of the Delivery Team as they join.

● Working as a Team. You will have a high degree of autonomy and ownership over your assigned projects. We value collaboration highly at Plan Assist, you will be expected to collaborate and share your learnings and problems solved with your colleagues. 

Minimum (Essential) Requirements:

● Workday Adaptive Planning Platform Certified. 

● You will be expected to maintain proficiency in both Workday Adaptive Planning and Pigment Planning, complying with relevant update certifications where applicable and feasible.

● Completed and managed at least 8 implementations of Adaptive Planning end-to-end.

● Experienced in the gathering of client requirements and the estimation of effort to deliver those requirements. 

● Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences. 

● Ability to conceptualise a client's business model and translate it into a working model in the software.

● Demonstrable ability to be self-driven, motivated and pro-active.

● Broad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trends within Financials and Enterprise Resource Planning.

● Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Customer demands and project commercials.

● Able, if required, to travel to customer sites within the region of UK & Europe. (Out of region travel may also be required).

● Experience in product demonstrations within a pre-sales capacity.

Desirable:

● Certified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Part Qualified Accountant with strong industry experience

● Experience in using an EPM tool from an end-user perspective.

● Experience in ALL of the following EPM implementations: Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Operational Planning
