Specialty Doctor Associate Specialist in Psychiatry - Locum Role


We are looking for an enthusiastic, and motivated Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry to join our outstanding inpatient service in Lincolnshire.


Mentus Recruitment are proud to partner with an esteemed private provider of mental health care to offer this opportunity in an acute psychiatric hospital.


The hospital is an adult acute inpatient hospital. The hospital has an experienced medical team of Consultant Psychiatrist, specialty doctors, resident doctors, psychologist and a full MDT compliment.


The post-holder will work under the supervision of a consultant psychiatrist and will be integral to a multidisciplinary team


The Role and Package


- 40 hours, full time Monday to Friday

- Immediate Start Available

- Ongoing Contract

- Negotiable hourly rates £65-£85 per hour depending on experience

- Payment methods: LTD Company, Self Employed, PAYE or Umbrella

- Weekly Pay

- Mentus Recruitment are a registered, designated body with the GMC and can offer a full appraisal and revalidation service.

- Hospital is outside of IR35

Key Responsibilities


-Provide comprehensive care, assessment, and treatment to patients with mental disorders.

-Collaborate closely with the team to ensure effective clinical leadership of the inpatient service.

-Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

-Contribute to the continuous improvement of the clinical service by participating in quality assurance initiatives.

-Completion of tribunal reports and hearings

-Working as a senior team member and offering leadership to resident doctors.
