Location: Fleet, UK

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced "Protocol Developer" with deep expertise in NR and LTE protocols, particularly RRC protocol development. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and the ability to work independently on complex protocol development projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Protocol Development:

  • Develop and maintain NR and LTE protocols, focusing on RRC, NAS, PHY, and L2.
  • Design and implement elegant APIs.
  • Work with versioning systems and documentation.

2. Software Development:

  • Write code in C# (preferred) or C++.
  • Develop Python scripts for automation and testing.
  • Work with XML and Schema implementations.

3. Project Management:

  • Work independently on assigned projects.
  • Use Bitbucket for version control and Jira for project tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members for protocol integration.

Required Skills & Experience

Protocol Expertise:

  • Expert level knowledge in RRC protocol.
  • Moderate level understanding of L1 and L2 protocols.
  • Deep understanding of NR and LTE Protocol stacks.

Programming Skills:

  • Strong expertise in C# (preferred) or C++.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Experience with XML and Schema.

Tools & Technologies:

  • Experience with Bitbucket and Jira.
  • Understanding of version control systems.
  • Knowledge of API design principles.


Professional Skills

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills for customer interactions.
