Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that will enhance the company's operations and improve its bottom line.


Responsibilities include:


  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize the risk of stockouts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Develop and implement logistics and distribution strategies that optimize delivery times and reduce transportation costs
  • Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Manage and lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are performing at their best
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to supply chain management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that supply chain operations are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.


Requirements for the role:


  • At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex supply chain issues
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
