This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Security Analyst to be working onsite with an international investment bank, looking to enhance their career within Security Operations.


As a part of the BAU IT Security Operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT Security infrastructure, ensuring they run smoothly as they continue to expand their operations across Europe.


The Ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with the EMEA IT Security team, liaising across a range of different roles and levels of stakeholders, and be comfortable giving regular updates to the team and EMEA IT Security management.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the first line of IT Security operational support to the business in Europe
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT Security queries in in Europe.
  • Respond to and triage any security incidents coming in from the SOC.
  • Support the development of best practice security procedures in EMEA.
  • Assist with incident response in EMEA.
  • Develop knowledge of IT Security practices and a range of security disciplines to support the EMEA IT Security team.


Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of common networking protocols (SSH, SCP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, DNS), core encryption standards (PGP, RSA, SSL, TLS) and basic understanding of TCP/IP networking.
  • High level awareness of application and infrastructure logging, alerts and core security technologies such as SIEM’s, Proxy’s, Firewalls, EDR’s and MSSP’s.
  • The ability to monitor and track tickets and work in progress using JIRA or ServiceNow.
  • +2 years of Information Security experience.
  • High level knowledge of Incident Response.
