We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our Operations team in Royston. Your role will be involve overseeing the Engineered to Order (ETO) specialist X-Ray equipment from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, understand engineering concepts and principles, and have experience in manufacturing.

Your Role
- Collaborate with our customers to create and validate technical specifications and comprehensive project plans for Engineered to Order (ETO) solutions.
- Support the Safeline X-ray Sales teams by developing detailed quotations for identified solutions.
- Oversee the development of solutions from the initial concept proposal to the final validated product.
- Take ownership of and oversee the project timeline, addressing any impacts resulting from changes to the agreed baseline and committed lead times as needed.
- Ensure customers are provided with all necessary documentation (e.g. user manual and technical manuals, spare parts lists etc.).
- Act as single point of contact for the customer throughout the duration of the project and facilitate the hand-over at point of delivery to local Marketing Organization (MO).
What You'll Bring
- Experience in use of SAP, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- An enthusiastic and result oriented approach with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets under pressure.
- The ability to define and execute product validation strategies (e.g. customer factory acceptance testing etc).
- Knowledge and Experience of Robust Design and Systems Engineering principles.
- Experience in the design and integration of complex electro-mechanical products.
