Job Description

This role will lead implementation projects with new Bluelight clients, scoping and defining appropriate solutions, configuring and delivering the various modules of the Bluelight CRM (BlueCRM), working closely with client teams and business stakeholders as well as Bluelight’s: 

Delivery Team 

  • Functional Consultants 
  • Project Management Office (PMO) 

Technical Team 

  • Product development 
  • Support 


Responsibilities 

Consulting 

  • Communicate naturally with clients, providing insight and guidance 
  • Understand client’s existing systems, challenges and project objectives 
  • Ability to discuss strategic and operational issues with clients and to propose technology solutions where relevant and appropriate 
  • Ability to describe and discuss technical issues, solutions, challenges and options with non-technical project team members 
  • Meet and exceed client expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour 
  • Work closely with the Bluelight Project Managers to set expectations with clients, and to communicate updates to relevant parties both formally and informally 
  • Identify business/project risks and mitigate or escalate as necessary 
  • Deliver training to clients for all aspects of Dynamics and the BLC product 

 

Project Delivery 

  • Involvement in all phases of a project lifecycle 
  • Contribute to Pre-Sales activities as required, including building and delivering demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations 
  • Assist with the organisation, management and documentation of workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with client teams, project stakeholders and delivery teams 
  • Interpret given requirements to determine best fit within BlueCRM 
  • Identify opportunities and methods by which BlueCRM can enable clients to solve operational issues 
  • Illicit any necessary additional or new requirements during scoping sessions with client representatives 
  • Ability to analyse requirements for required technical development 
  • Creation of Functional Specification documenting client requirements and solution descriptions 
  • Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to the BLC project methodology 
  • Ensure that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan, on time and on budget, in collaboration with the Bluelight Project Manager 


Solution Development 

  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the delivery team and the technical team to ensure that the CRM solution meets client’s requirements 
  • Deliver high quality business and software solutions and services to clients, ensuring the implementation of best practices based on BLC standards and supported configuration/customisations 
  • The creation of high quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation, including training and support for testing activities 
  • Involvement in the enhancement of core BLC solutions 
  • Support BLC product development activities such as defining and configuring industry specific solutions  
  • Contribute to the handover of client solutions to the technical team for ongoing support 

 

General 

  • To carry out additional duties that may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the management team 
  • Dependent on experience, support and mentor other members of the delivery team 
  • General knowledge of BLC clients in order to assist the technical team with support desk tickets if called upon 
  • Willingness to improve personal development through continued learning or certifications relevant to Microsoft or other industry standards

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree educated
  • Two or more years of experience in tailoring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, and Power Platform.
  • Self-starter, who relishes challenges and strives for the best
  • Team player capable of building client relationships and consults with others, quickly establishes trust and credibility with client and their colleagues
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience of running workshops and documenting client requirements
  • Analytical approach, with solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good customer engagement and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Dynamics 365 or alternative CRM solutions
  • Business process, prototyping and problem-solving skills
  • Worked across end-to-end CRM (ideally Dynamics 365) implementation projects
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company information
  • Represent BLC in a professional and positive manner at all times 
  • Work on own initiative and with minimal support as appropriate  
  • Proficient understanding of out-of-the box functionality of Dynamics as well as what the BlueCRM product offers
