Kim Partridge Interiors is an award winning and established studio seeking a talented and passionate Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join its small, collaborative and dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious hospitality projects and high-end residential commissions.   

The Role:

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in all aspects of the design process, from initial client pitch meetings to project completion. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with senior designers, architects, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on developing and presenting creative design concepts for hospitality and residential projects.
  • Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to clients.
  • Utilise design software (AutoCAD) to create detailed construction documents, including space plans, elevations, and joinery details.
  • Source furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), materials, and finishes and manage the FF&E procurement process from to installation.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to established timelines.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with contractors and suppliers to execute the design intent.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any concerns.
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay abreast of current design trends, materials, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working in a reputable interior design firm is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully. completing hospitality and/or residential projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

·      A strong understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, and a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces are essential.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team is highly valued.
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferable
