Highly prestigious financial services business who are know across the world based in London/ Surrey borders is expanding their finance team to hire a Financial Controller.


Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller with the plan of stepping into the Head of Finance role within the next couple of years.


They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who has operated at Senior Leadership/ board level that has extensive experience engaging with C-Suite whilst leading a team.

Key requirements

  • Qualified Accountant - ESSENTIAL
  • Financial services background - ESSENTIAL
  • Technically strong
  • Consolidations experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Creative thinking
  • Ability to challenge


This role will include;


  • Leading on UK tax matters
  • Managing a team
  • Delivery of IFRS reporting
  • Leading on key I.T implementation/ transformation projects
  • Group consolidations
  • Project/ system implementation and process improvement projects
  • Statutory accounts
  • Working closely with the commercial finance team
