Job Description:

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting insights from vast amounts of data to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions that optimize various aspects of our operations, from marketing to supply chain management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Python, and other relevant tools to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and algorithms that enhance customer segmentation, demand forecasting, and personalized recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
  • Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies and initiatives.
  • Leverage cloud technologies, preferably AWS, to deploy scalable and cost-effective solutions for data processing, modeling, and visualization.
  • Support the Data Engineer in develop data pipelines and workflows to automate repetitive tasks and streamline data processes.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytical capabilities.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
  • Proficiency in Python, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong background in advanced analytics and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
