Job Title: Electronics Engineer


Copello is representing a client who is actively seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer with a strong background in both hardware and embedded software development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of new product delivery, from initial quotation and concept through to design, validation, and manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the entire design engineering process, beginning with a functional requirements specification.
  • Performing schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Assembling prototypes and developing embedded software in ‘C’.
  • Conducting comprehensive product testing and validation.
  • Specifying product test procedures and generating manufacturing data.
  • Engaging in RF design as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Methodical and Structured Approach: Demonstrates a methodical and structured approach to the engineering design process.
  • Schematic Capture and PCB Layout: Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Embedded Software Development: Experience with industry-standard tools for embedded code development in ‘C’ (e.g., GCC, Eclipse).
  • Low Voltage Digital and Analog Electronics: Knowledgeable in designing low voltage digital and analog circuits.
  • Low Power Design: Expertise in low power design techniques, particularly for battery-powered devices.
  • Microcontrollers: Familiarity with 32-bit microcontrollers, such as ARM Cortex.
  • Embedded Communication Interfaces: Proficiency in using SPI, UART, and I2C interfaces.
  • IoT Wireless Modules: Experience with IoT wireless modules, including cellular modems, ISM, LoRa, and BLE.
  • Companion PC Software Development: Ability to develop companion PC software for internal product testing.


Preferred Skills:


Demonstrable experience in RF Design.
