Whom are we looking for?

Looking at our expansion in the UK market and consequent contract awards, we are on the lookout for a Project Engineer, preferably based in the area of Manchester, to ensure we are managing risks, controlling and ensuring billing/managing scope/change.

To be successful in this role, you are expected to:

  • Project Support & Coordination: assist with project planning, scheduling and documentation;
  • Technical Engineering Support: Provide technical support related to grid integration, safety protocols and design processes;
  • Project Management & Tendering: Support the preparation of bids and proposals, assisting with project tracking and costs controlling;
  • Support onsite: Coordinate commissioning activities ensuring Health & Safety regulations are followed throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Stakeholder engagement: Liaise with Distribution Network Operations (DNO), contractors and clients to support successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical engineering or related field;
  • 2 + years experience as Project Engineer, Project Lead or in a similar role;
  • Strong interest in and passion for renewable energy sector;
  • Proven understanding with principles and fundamentals inc grid ie G99/100 application and BESS;
  • Proficient communication and organisation skills;
  • Sound IT skills, preferably in CAD and Office;
  • Familiarity with Project Management practices, prefAPM/Prince2 desirable;
  • Driving licence & car (plus around the office area).
