We are currently looking for a External Communications Lead to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Surrey area. As the External Communications Lead, you will be responsible for driving corporate and communications activities to enhance brand awareness and build a distinguished corporate reputation among key stakeholders across the EST-C region.


This is initially a contract to the end of March with a chance to go permanent


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Commercial External Communications Lead will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Evolve and implement the corporate digital channel strategy, securing internal stakeholder support to achieve the communications team's goals.

2. As the External Communications Lead you will develop and maintain relationships with target media, identifying opportunities for leadership visibility and thought leadership.

3. Build and sustain relationships within the region and enterprise to provide communications counsel to all parts of the organisation, including the management team.

4. As the External Communications Lead you will oversee the performance management of agency partners, ensuring communications programme deliverables are timely and within budget.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the External Communications Lead, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in pharmaceutical communications.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with digital strategy and communications activity.
