Merchant City Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced

Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our Day Hospital Theatre team.

This is

an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional and patient-focused

environment, providing exceptional care throughout the surgical journey.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for:

-Supporting patients through all stages of their surgical experience,

ensuring high-quality care and comfort.

-Assisting the surgical team and Theatre Manager in delivering safe and

effective procedures.

-Preparing and maintaining clinical areas, ensuring a safe and sterile

environment.

-Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients pre- and post-

surgery.

-Monitoring patient well-being and reporting any concerns to the clinical

team.

Requirements:

-Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in a surgical or

theatre setting.

-A compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication

skills.

-Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

-A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.

-NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential).
