Summary


  • Job Title: Solicitor or Legal Executive
  • Location: Leeds
  • Salary: to £50,000
  • Work pattern: hybrid – 1 day in office / 4 days WFH
  • Reports to: Partner - Head of Department
  • Previous experience: Broad range of candidates considered. Candidates may have a background in criminal law, or may have a strong background in HSE regulatory work.


Introduction to the regulatory team


Work comes from a range of insurer-backed and corporate clients including large national and international companies as well as listed PLCs. The team consists of around 15 lawyers advising on some of the most complex and intricate cases in the UK. You will work nationally across the firm’s UK network of offices.


Range of work from healthcare to corporate manslaughter

The successful candidate can expect to be advising a range of corporate and commercial clients across a variety of sectors including manufacturing, retail, construction and leisure. Typical cases include:


  • corporate manslaughter;
  • health and safety prosecutions;
  • breaches relating to food, fire and environmental incidents;
  • healthcare regulatory work;
  • representations before the Coroners Court;
  • the team also has a specialist motor crime offering advising privately funded cases including dangerous driving and driving under the influence.
