Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Clients team in Dagenham. The ideal candidate will have expertise in demolition projects and a proven track record of working with tier one contractors. Responsibilities include cost management, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial aspects of demolition projects.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor payments.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Extensive experience in demolition projects.
- Previous employment with a tier one contractor.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and legislation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
