About the role

We are representing a leading global financial services firm in the search for a dynamic Director of Product Management. This key role will be responsible for steering the strategic direction and execution of product management for a range of complex global loan products. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with platform leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Platform Leaders to interpret and translate strategic visions into actionable plans for product teams.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring the continual delivery of value and alignment of objectives across teams.
  • Lead various product teams by providing direction, facilitating smooth workflows, and addressing any obstacles.
  • Manage product operations to evaluate performance against established metrics while ensuring accountability for risk.
  • Promote agile methodologies and cultivate a culture of collaboration and innovation

The ideal candidate will have

  • 12+ years of experience in relevant financial sectors, with expertise in complex loan management and a solid understanding of money movement, reconciliations, and trading.
  • Proven ability in building and leading teams, championing agile practices, and enhancing cross-team collaboration.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of breaking down complex initiatives into practical, actionable strategies that drive business value.
  • Strong commitment to fostering innovation and continuous improvement, along with excellent coaching and influencing abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance,
  • computer science engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of product experience and familiarity with agile methodologies
