The Role

Reporting into the project Commercial Lead, as a Quantity Surveyor you will play a critical role in maintaining, optimising, and troubleshooting high-performance electrical systems. You will work closely with a dedicated operations and commercial team to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency across the facility's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments with construction team for production activities.
  • Prepare reports and front-end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take offs and tender schedules.
  • Prepare technical and contract documentation for issue and analysing returned tenders.
  • Ensuring deliveries are controlled by ensuring delivery schedule is kept up to date.
  • Clarifying queries with the Design team through request for information (RFI) system.
  • Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
  • Produce look ahead programs to assist production.
  • Responsible for conducting Quality Control inspections and snagging.
  • Responsible for document control, recording and transmitting information.
  • Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams across the project.

Key Requirements

  • Must have a background in Engineering.
  • Must have data centre experience.
  • 3-7 years' experience in Engineering in the construction industry.
