Hours: Full-time

Duration: 6-month contract (with scope to extend)


Aquent is helping our social media client recruit a Senior Animator with experience delivering animation to game systems to work with their team to deliver human and creature animation.


This is a 6-month contract position with the scope to extend. Our client operates on a hybrid model where you’ll be required to work onsite in their Leamington Spa office 3 days per week. The role offers an attractive rate of £47.23 per hour, equivalent to £98,238 per annum, pro rata (PAYE), and comes with up to 33 days of holiday per annum, pro rata, inclusive of 8 bank holidays.


Main responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to deliver human and creature animation
  • Deliver animation content to the game engine in Maya
  • Help review vendor work


Skills Required:

  • Senior experience working with in-game movement sets of connected animations
  • Ability to feedback on required improvements to other animators and outsource vendors
  • High competence with animation delivery for run time (games) systems
  • Portfolio showing human and creature animation
  • Experience with human and animal game movement and actions
  • Relevant experience with the end-to-end process
  • Highly proficient in relevant software packages, e.g. Maya and commercial game engines
  • Experience with Unity is a bonus
  • Motion capture experience a bonus
