Test Engineer

We're seeking an Automation Test Engineer to ensure rapid delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate prioritizes automation, is skilled in programming, and has experience with modern tech stacks including REST APIs, web UIs, and ideally mobile. They should be positive, curious, and adept at working in large Agile teams.

Technologies we use:

  • C#, .NET Core, Redis, Kubernetes, Istio, and other cutting-edge tech
  • Azure services (Azure SQL, B2C, VMs, cloud Storage, Azure Functions, Azure key vault, Azure Active Directory, Azure services bus)
  • CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps pipelines, feature flagging)
  • Swift & Kotlin for iOS and Android, React and React Native

Responsibilities:

  • Develop automation scripts using tools like Playwright, Appium
  • Identify and document bugs
  • Collaborate with QA and dev teams
  • Create and execute test cases
  • Implement automation test frameworks
  • Conduct non-functional testing
  • Evaluate software responsiveness, scalability, and reliability
  • Design and execute load and stress tests
  • Ensure compliance with security standards

Key skills:

  • 3+ years' testing experience
  • Proficiency with modern automated test frameworks
  • Web application testing experience
  • Knowledge of C#, Typescript, or Java
  • REST API testing experience
  • Non-functional testing knowledge

Nice to have:

  • EPOS systems/hospitality industry knowledge
  • Mobile/desktop automation testing experience
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Docker container experience
  • Azure Cloud
  • ISEB/ISTQB foundation certificate
