The Podcast Guys® are on the hunt for an energetic Business Development Executive to join our ambitious team. This role is perfect for a tenacious individual eager to make their mark in the fast-paced world of podcast production. You’ll be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, sparking conversations with key decision-makers within brands to explore and enhance their audio strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


• Proactively outreach to potential clients, establishing initial contact and identifying opportunities to discuss their audio content needs.

• Schedule and conduct meetings with brand stakeholders to pitch The Podcast Guys’ services, demonstrating how our podcasting solutions align with their objectives.

• Maintain a high level of activity, managing a busy pipeline, and ensuring consistent engagement with prospects.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage campaigns and insights for effective lead generation.

• Keep detailed records of business development activities, including calls, meetings, and follow-ups, within our CRM system.

• Attend industry events and networking functions to foster relationships and gather market intelligence.

• Work closely with the production team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project initiation.

• Continuously educate yourself on industry trends and competitive landscapes to effectively communicate The Podcast Guys’ unique value proposition.

• A proactive go-getter with a drive to succeed in a sales-oriented role.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to engage with decision-makers.

• A knack for listening and understanding client needs to tailor solutions effectively.

• Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

• A team player with the ability to work independently when required.

• Goal-oriented with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets.

• Keen interest in the media, podcasting, and digital storytelling spaces.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience is preferred, but not essential.

Hours and Salary Range:


This office-based, full-time role comes with a starting salary of £18,000 to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a generous commission scheme designed to reward high performance. Located in our vibrant Oxted production office, you’ll be expected to work Monday to Friday, with flexible hours to accommodate client engagement across various time zones.
