Graduate DevOps/CloudOps Engineer
We are excited to be partnering with an innovative company that is revolutionizing the way people connect through versatile, easy-to-use video devices and technology solutions. By seamlessly bridging the gap between physical and virtual environments, this company helps individuals feel more engaged, connected, and understood, regardless of their working preferences.
They are looking for passionate, ambitious individuals to join their dynamic team, which is known for its accountability, creativity, and collaborative culture.
The Team:
The Cambridge-based team is at the forefront of developing and managing the award-winning cloud platform for their hybrid/smart office technologies. The company’s working environment is transparent, supportive, and encourages collaboration across a diverse range of technical backgrounds. Every team member, regardless of experience, brings a unique perspective, and the team takes pride in continuously learning from one another. Quality is central to their work, with thorough testing and reviews being standard practice. They are proud of what they have built so far but always push themselves to innovate and improve. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to this ongoing journey from the outset.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated graduate with a passion for technology. You will join a small, agile team that is responsible for building and scaling a cloud platform, improving testing processes, and enhancing automation systems. The role offers hands-on experience across several key areas, including but not limited to:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Cloud Deployment & Networking
- Databases & Data Storage Solutions
- Automated Testing Tools & Frameworks
- Metrics & Monitoring Systems
- Security
- Continuous Integration Systems
While previous experience with these technologies is beneficial, the company is more focused on finding individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and eager to dive into new challenges. You will be supported by senior engineers and work alongside a passionate, driven team that enjoys tackling complex problems. There will also be opportunities to explore and experiment with cutting-edge technologies that could enhance the platform or product.
In addition to working on system performance and high availability, over time you will also join the incident response team, where you will investigate, mitigate, and resolve both internal and external issues in real-time.
