Commodity Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commodity Manager with a background in Indirect Services procurement to showcase a wide range of skills for a organisation that has a true global footprint.
Working for a global Engineering company who specialise in the Aerospace sector you will be responsible for defining and agreeing the commodity strategy for key indirect product and services whilst managing a team of 4 account buyers.
You will be a key interface managing all indirect categories of spend whilst developing and implementing the sourcing strategies to ensure success. The team currently work with in excess of 1,700 suppliers, so your knowledge around creating and managing complex contracts is essential. You will have a background in indirect sourcing along with the ability to showcase how you have developed strategies with success.
What do I need to show ?
+ MCIPS and / or Bachelors or master's degree in industrial, engineering, production etc
+ Well versed Commodity Management experience within Indirect services
+ Good working understanding of contracting processes and ability to negotiate legal T&Cs
+ Commercial mindset
+ Team leading / management
+ Good personality - they hire as much on attitude as they do on aptitude
