Overview:

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Market & Consumer Insights Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll support a range of high-growth projects in emerging wellness categories - including cannabis, CBD, functional beverages, nicotine products, nootropics, and cosmetics. You'll be responsible for researching markets, analysing consumer behaviour, and turning data into strategic insights that help shape products, guide investments, and inform go-to-market decisions.

What You'll Do:

As an Analyst, you'll support the consulting team by driving research, analysing data, and contributing to client deliverables. You'll work across multiple projects and categories, helping us stay ahead of trends and identify opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research across a range of wellness-related categories, including cannabis, nicotine alternatives, functional drinks, and skincare.
  • Track competitive landscapes, brand strategies, product launches, and regulatory changes.
  • Analyse consumer behaviour using survey data, interviews, and secondary research.
  • Identify category trends and whitespace opportunities for product development.
  • Support us in building financial models, forecasts, and market sizing estimates to support client strategies.
  • Create compelling, insight-driven presentations and reports for clients and internal use.
  • Assist in due diligence projects by gathering and analysing commercial data on acquisition targets.
  • Stay up to date on industry news, innovations, and emerging brands across relevant categories.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or business intelligence (preferably in cannabis, nicotine, FMCG, or functional wellness sectors).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and/or data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with consumer research methods (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Beneficial but not essential: Understanding of the UK and European market and regulatory landscape for cannabis, nicotine, and/or functional products.
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
