Digital Designers at Liberty are primarily responsible for designing beautiful, engaging content to support our online marketing activities. They must collaborate with a wide range of marketing and creative teams to bring the digital channels to life as part of wider multi-channel marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities

  • Create visual designs for digital marketing content such as digital ads, affiliate collateral, emails, social posts and custom web pages
  • Where required, create motion graphics or edit short-form videos for use in digital ads or social posts
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing, customer marketing and digital trading teams to understand their briefs and turn them into a reality
  • Contribute to the development of Liberty’s branding guidelines and ensure any new designs comply with those guidelines
  • Ensure designs are mobile-first, responsive and consider accessibility, SEO and performance
  • Refresh website content by publishing changes using the web content management system
  • Peer review custom web pages or emails created by your colleagues to ensure quality standards are met
  • Review competitor marketing and keep up-to-date with the latest digital design trends to constantly improve the look and feel of our digital marketing assets


Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable passion for design and luxury
  • Educational qualifications in a design-related discipline
  • At least some relevant work experience in a corporate environment, which could include internships
  • Experience with core Adobe Creative Suite tools (Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Some experience with creating motion graphics and video editing using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (or at least a very strong desire to learn)
  • Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of typography, colour and layout
  • Highly collaborative
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Desirable

  • Experience of using Figma
  • Experience of using Dynamic Content (the web content management solution offered by Amplience)
  • Experience of front-end development using HTML/CSS/Javascript
