Role overview
The role of AV Project Engineer (L5) within Cisilion Professional Services is to consult, design, plan and implement technical projects. To work closely with the Senior and Principal Technical Consultants, Presale Architects, and other teams as required. The AV Project Engineer will also support the Sales and Presales teams to provide the technical expertise required to close sales opportunities and propose the current plan to better serve our customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating solutions at kick-off calls, configuring rooms according to client specifications, programming audio DSPs, running testing documentation, and obtaining client sign-off. The role requires hands-on AV field experience and a strong commitment to delivering beyond expectations.
Knowledge & Experience
- Possess a proven track record and exposure to design and delivery against: Yealink, Logitech, HP Poly, QSC, Shure, BIAMP, Kramer, Extron, Crestron, Cisco Teams Meeting Rooms, Microsoft Surface Hub.
- Demonstrate experience in deployment of AV meeting room spaces not just constrained to Teams/Webex but the wider ecosystem of AV installations such as divisible spaces, enhanced audio - working.
- Have a thorough understanding of Networking protocols and troubleshooting as part of AV design and commissioning.
- Have a thorough understanding of visualising a space and translating that into a premium AV area/room, considering lighting, acoustics, elevation to meet the client requirements.
- Maintains industry-recognised technical relevance through diverse experiences, vendor certifications, training, relationships, and participation in industry events.
- Demonstrates exceptional skills in time-management, planning, and communication consistently.
- Possesses commercial awareness to safeguard Cisilion's interests across all aspects of professional services delivery.
- Demonstrates continual knowledge and experience in technical infrastructure hardware, software, and solutions, across relevant fields.
- Delivers quality, consistency, and excellence while continuously striving for improvement.
Certifications
Essential:
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
- Additional relevant certifications in one or more of the following areas: Dante, Crestron, Extron, AMX, BIAMP, QSC)
Desirable:
- Appspace and Room Booking systems knowledge/digital signage
- Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700)
- Yealink Microsoft Solutions Tech and Sales Professional
