A brilliant forward-thinking, established, prestigious and a very successful organisation based in Cambridgeshire who have an excellent and significant presence in the Electronics & Manufacturing Industry for producing world class engineering products on a global scale along with high quality technology usage and development in numerous sectors that include food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, automotive and many more are hiring for a brand new Senior Electronics Engineer to join the hugely successful Global Engineering Specialist Organization who're presently building and designing their next generation of products and technology.

Salary & Bonus:

The salary on offer for the Senior Electronics Engineer is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience plus a 6% bonus. Working 4 days working onsite and 1 day WFH is available.

The role:

The successful Senior Electronics Engineer will collaborate with highly innovative engineering team that consists of Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry and Software Engineers and the Senior Electronics Engineer will take responsibility for the full product design lifecycle that will design of Electronics Hardware, PCB Design, Firmware, Cable assemblies and many more.

Senior Electronics Engineer key skills:

  • Minimum of at least 5 years industry professional experience
  • Experience in the product design lifecycle – Concept introduction into manufacturing
  • Designing and supporting all Electronic systems, including: high voltage circuits, power supplies, analogue and high-speed digital circuits
  • Knowledge and experience of Power/Analogue Electronics - Boost, Buck converter circuits, power supplies, DC/DC Converters, LDO regulators
  • PCB Design & Schematic Capture
  • Comprehensive knowledge on topics involving electronics engineering from first principles, complex system integration, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Test and validation of designs, with familiarity in prototyping, debugging, and modelling
  • Experience of producing quality reports and documentation
  • Passionate, good teamwork & communication skills

Desirable nice to have skills:

  • Experienced in safety regulations, EMC, LVD, thermal management
  • Ability to write software including Embedded C, VHDL, Assembler and Linux
  • Mechanical integration a distinct advantage
