Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

About the Role

My client is a premium personal grooming brand known for high-quality, precision-engineered products and a commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. As they continue to expand globally—particularly in the USA, their largest and fastest-growing market—they’re seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Chief Marketing Officer to drive continued success.

In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute an all-encompassing marketing strategy, spearhead brand evolution, and substantially increase market share. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and impactful brand experiences, helping the organisation grow from a current revenue level of $10–$20 million to meet ambitious targets—building on a track record of growing revenues by 50% in just two years.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement a holistic, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with revenue objectives and brand-building goals.
  • Identify and assess new market opportunities, partnerships, and global expansion initiatives.
  1. Brand Management & Positioning
  • Define and uphold brand guidelines, ensuring compelling messaging across all channels.
  • Elevate the brand story, focusing on craftsmanship, precision, and product quality.
  • Foster a strong community through ambassador programmes, influencer partnerships, and user-generated content.
  1. Digital & Performance Marketing
  • Oversee all digital marketing campaigns (paid advertising, SEO/SEM, email, social media, e-commerce) to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Implement advanced analytics to measure effectiveness, optimise ROI, and inform data-driven decisions.
  1. Product Marketing & Innovation
  • Collaborate with product teams on new launches and enhancements.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analyses to anticipate shifts and identify emerging trends.
  1. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team, cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Forge productive relationships with external agencies, media partners, and vendors.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrable track record in a senior marketing leadership role (CMO, Head of Marketing, or Head of Performance & Growth) within consumer goods, personal care, or premium lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven ability to scale revenues from $10–$20 million and achieve at least 50% growth within two years.
  • Robust background in brand building and performance marketing, balancing creative storytelling with quantitative analytics.
  • Expertise in D2C, e-commerce, and multi-channel marketing, with a focus on the USA market.
  • Strong analytical skills, utilising contemporary marketing analytics tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
