The impact you'll have:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to take on the role of Strategic Account Manager. This individual will oversee a team of account managers dedicated to managing and servicing our strategic customers. The role focuses on enhancing customer service and experience, streamlining processes, and managing debt while driving sales growth and customer retention.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in fostering long-term customer relationships, achieving operational excellence, and contributing to business revenue objectives.
A typical day:
- To lead, mentor and inspire a team of customer service and operations specialists
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional service to strategic customers by aligning processes with their needs
- Manage customer accounts to minimise overdue payments and improve cashflow
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue
- Work closely with the sales team to cross-sell and upsell services to strategic customers
- Addressing and resolving customer issues and escalations promptly
What you'll bring:
- You will demonstrate that you have a proven track record of success within your current field.
- You will need work experience in an account management or customer service type role.
- You will be able to build rapport using a mature, consultative approach to sales-selling on service and value
- You will have the ability to work autonomously as well part of a wider team
- You will be self-motivated and results- driven, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
