TS Recruitment are actively working with an Electrical Contractor based in York who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager.

Benefits

  • Basic salary circa £50-60,000 per annum

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Managing Director to carry out all commercial duties.
  • Carry out Estimates and submit tenders for electrical refurb projects in the Yorkshire region.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Work closely with the Contracts Managers regarding valuations and submit payment applications.
  • Ensure projects are complete within budget and profitable.
  • Attend Senior Management meetings and provide forecasts and cost value reports.
  • Build relationships with main contractors and clients.
  • Even split between Estimating and Quantity Surveying

  • Approved contractor on several frameworks
  • Work on commercial refurb projects and maintenance work.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Commercial experience working as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor.
  • A desire to grow a business and grow a team in time.
  • Quantity Surveying degree preferred but not essential.
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft excel.
  • Full UK driving license
