Qlaims is seeking a proven partnerships manager, who is seeking to progress their career. Qlaims is a young business and there is huge opportunity to grow with the company, as well as participate in its success.


What you'll do at Qlaims

You’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and building relationships with insurance brokers and MGAs. You’ll understand the needs of our broker partners when it comes to their (property) claims proposition to their clients, and through Qlaims’ products and services you’ll support them in delivering great customer outcomes.

You’ll network widely, representing Qlaims at key industry events, and you’ll deliver strong growth in sales and income to our business. You’ll be able to spot market opportunities, and in conjunction with the product development team, deliver them to our partners.


What you'll deliver

  • Your revenue targets from both existing and new partnerships, whilst continually expanding your network of new partners.
  • A pipeline of qualified new partners. You’ll engage with potential partners and by effectively communicating our value proposition, you’ll deliver mutually beneficial long-term partnerships.
  • New and updated presentation materials, as well as other marketing collateral, working closely with the marketing team to keep the Qlaims brand fresh and aligned to our strategy.
  • Presentations and talks at industry forums and seminars, always seeking opportunities to broaden the reach of Qlaims’ product and services.
  • Contract implementations, from negotiation, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that all commitments are fully delivered.
  • Accurate sales forecasts. Working closely with the executive team, you’ll support the forecasting, budgeting and commercial modelling activity for Partnerships, taking responsibility for the agreed Partnerships targets.
  • Accurate monthly reports detailing progress versus development plans, sales pipeline and activity/conversion rates.
  • Current and relevant CRM system and processes, where with all development activity and client contacts are captured.

You’ll be a key member of the team and deliver your objectives and targets in a way that aligns to the culture and values of Qlaims.


What you're like

  • You’ll be enthusiastic and confident, with a demonstrable track record in business development – sales and profit. You’re target driven with a passion for achieving results.
  • You’ll be a first-class communicator, with an existing network of contacts, who is adept at selling products and services by phone, video-calls, and in person.
  • You’ll be generally IT savvy and have a keen interest to embrace technology. You’ll also be already proficient in Microsoft Office software, such as MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • You’ll already have at least 5 years’ experience in a partnership or corporate business development role within the insurance industry.


The Package

Excellent salary and Company pension; performance related bonus; car allowance; 25 days holiday; and, opportunity to participate in the Company’s share option scheme. Full UK Driving Licence is required.


Location: Home-based, but UK wide travel is required to fulfil the role.
