Your Role

As a Cost Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering cost consultancy and quantity surveying services for MEP packages across the full project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cost Planning & Estimation – Develop accurate MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
  • Procurement & Tendering – Analyse MEP tender returns, advise on procurement strategies, and support recommendations to clients.
  • Project Financial Management – Monitor budgets, assess variations, and manage MEP valuations from design through to completion.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain trusted relationships, ensuring the highest standards of professional service.
  • Team Support & Development – Mentor junior team members and help drive excellence in cost management.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record in cost management/quantity surveying across the full project lifecycle.
  • MEP expertise – experience delivering MEP elements of major projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Professional qualification (RICS or similar) or working towards it.
  • A degree or HNC-level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of and connections within the MEP supply chain (Tier 1 and below) are a plus.
