Position: Tax Supervisor


Location: Watford


TechNET-IT is thrilled to partner with a renowned firm of Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisers, to offer an opportunity for a Tax Supervisor. Based in Watford, this role supports the firm's mission to provide "friendly expertise" to a diverse client base in the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare complex personal, partnership, trust, and corporation tax returns.
  • Review tax returns prepared by team members.
  • Support various tax filings throughout the year, including P11d’s, PSAs, ATED, Form 42, and EMI40 returns.
  • Liaise with clients to discuss queries and arrange submissions to HMRC.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely payments and returns.
  • Draft responses to HMRC correspondence and enquiry notices.
  • Provide advice on tax planning matters, including capital allowances, HMRC clearances, R&D claims, share schemes, and SEIS/EIS investments, under the supervision of Tax Managers and Principals.


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • Qualified ATT, ACCA, or ACA.
  • Over 5 years of tax experience in practice.
  • Part-qualified CTA or willingness to pursue CTA qualification (training support provided).
  • Strong IT skills and technical ability.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Full-time role – Monday to Friday (flexible working policy – combination of office/home working).
