Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Fully Remote (Must be UK based)

Salary: £100k - £110k base salary + 15% bonus

The Role: As part of the Cloud Infrastructure team, you’ll collaborate to design, build, and optimize infrastructure that supports a globally distributed network. You'll apply SRE principles to increase availability, reliability, and performance, driving operational excellence at scale. Your expertise will shape the core infrastructure that powers mission-critical services for businesses worldwide.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with the Network Automation Team to deploy infrastructure for the automation platform.
  • Apply SRE best practices like SLI/SLO/SLA measurement to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Build and maintain SLO and SLI baselines for network, system, and application performance.
  • Analyze data, troubleshoot, and test network/systems to ensure optimal production performance.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems.


What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience working with large-scale cloud, web, or CDN infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Python and Go (C/C++ is a plus).
  • Expert knowledge of Linux systems, network protocols (TCP, UDP, DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP), and BGP/Anycast routing.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, Saltstack, Gitlab, Jenkins and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (NoSQL, Redis, Kafka) and container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
