As our Website Manager, you will be responsible for the management and sales of our UK and European websites (France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Ireland). You will work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance and customer support to ensure good performance meets a holistic shopping experience on the web stores.


directly responsible to:  Managing Director, EMEA; Global ecommerce & marketing Director.

 

main tasks:


  • grow our e-commerce stores in the UK and Europe through Shopify (France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Ireland) and handle the expansion into additional European countries.
  • manage our Google Ads, working with a Performance Marketing Executive to ensure ads follow a consistent sales strategy in all territories and are achieving their KPIs in both Brand Awareness and Websales.
  • work closely with the marketing team to analyse email, sales and digital marketing performance data and identify trends, insights, and optimisation opportunities.
  • use statistical frameworks to forecast sales performance and product inventory quantities, then work with Supply Chain to ensure product availability.
  • create content blocks for the website using basic web development tools and languages (HTML/CSS).
  • work with a US Based development team to deploy functionalities ranging from UX led to Payment processing gateways.
  • collaborate with the Customer Support team to lead the training, deployment and supervision of an AI-based customer support chatbot.
  • manage content for all our stores in their respective native languages, working with content translated by our translation agency to ensure wording consistency, readability and trust.
  • report on KPIs per territory and demonstrate strategies to improve them — e.g. revenue, conversion rate, traffic, SEM activity.
  • identify opportunities to drive traffic and increase conversion through competitor analysis.


skills and experience:


  • strong analyst must be able to recognise success / failure and take corrective action.
  • data-driven decision making, with thorough understanding of UK/EU customer behaviour.
  • base knowledge of web development languages (HTML, CSS essential, Liquid is a plus).
  • experience with web development project management preferred.
  • experience with digital advertising tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, email marketing).
  • knowledge of statistical models applied to sales forecasting and stock keeping.
  • bachelor’s degree (2:1 or higher) in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 1+ European languages (French, Spanish, Dutch, German or Italian preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in e-commerce (Magento or Shopify).
