The Company:

We are a long-established, NSI Gold accredited security company specialising in delivering high-end security solutions to commercial, local government, and specialist residential clients. With a commitment to high standards of service, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we handle a diverse range of projects, often for sensitive sites requiring discretion and security clearance.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our dedicated team and support our operations across London and the Southeast.


The Role:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the security sector, particularly in the installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of a wide range of security systems, including Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and IP CCTV. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and adhering to industry standards. You will be required to carry out both small works and larger project installations, working independently or as part of a team, and will have the opportunity to support junior engineers in developing their skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of systems such as:
  • Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell, etc.)
  • IP CCTV Systems (variety of manufacturers)
  • Access Control Systems (Paxton, Honeywell, etc.)
  • Door Entry Systems and bespoke security systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and fault-finding to ensure systems are fully operational.
  • Commission and test systems to NSI (NACOSS) Gold standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports, complete service documentation, and provide technical support to clients.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support to clients.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the security industry.
  • Proficiency in the following: Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV.
  • Strong knowledge of NSI standards and British Standards.
  • Experience in leading a team or mentoring less experienced engineers is an advantage.
  • Strong IT and networking skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Must meet BS7858:2019 security screening requirements and be eligible for CTC or SC clearance.
  • ECS/CSCS accreditation preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Must wear company uniform.
